In the aftermath of political tension when the government tried to suppress citizens by forcing internet and social media cutoffs during GenZ protest on Sep 7, 2025, we developed Kranti - a vital communication tool for the Nepali people.

Kranti is a wrapper of BitChat developed by Jack Dorsey, specifically designed for Nepali users with simplified UI and Nepali language support. When traditional communication channels fail, Kranti ensures people can stay connected.

Mesh Network Capability: Kranti leverages Bluetooth mesh networking, allowing it to function even during complete internet shutdowns. Messages can hop from device to device, creating a resilient communication network that can't be easily controlled or shutdown by authorities.
